My Journey So Far...

1. I studied Mechanical engineering at National Institute of Technology, Surat in India back in 2007 and spent around 6 years as a design engineering consultant in the Oil & Gas industry working on big infrastructure projects in India and Africa.
2. I then pursued MBA from ISB (Indian School of Business), Hyderabad where I majored in Strategy and Marketing.
3. Fresh out of B-school I joined India’s largest real estate brand, Lodha Group in Mumbai where I spent 3 years as a strategy consultant.
4. In 2017, the entrepreneurial bug bit me and I took the plunge! For the next 3 years, I pursued my passion and built Cobodh, the corporate trainer aggregator platform. In 2020, Cobodh got acquired and I made a strategic exit.
5. In early 2020 I had pondered on starting another startup venture but then the Covid Pandemic took the world by storm and I decided to shelve all plans to start-up. There were simply too many variables at that point in time.
6. Since 2020, I have been working with B2B technology companies building and executing strategies while leading business teams expand to new markets and service existing customers better.
7. The last four years have been particularly enriching wherein I have gotten the opportunity to work as a Google authorised partner to deploy AI-based cloud solutions for customers across the world. Subsequently, at Zaggle and Drip Capital I have been working in the Fintech space to unlock potential for startups and enterprises.
8. Currently I serve as the Head of Fintech Solutions working with Fintechs to build new use cases for UPI, RuPay, IMPS, FastTag, AePS & NACH.
   The endeavour is to go beyond Payment services and helping Fintechs and Financial Services firms grow using our new to market services on Authentication, Analytics, Rewards & AI.
9. Having come this far, I have finally given myself permission to pursue projects that might fall beyond my traditional career trajectory, including but not limited to, writing science fiction and content creation on relevant tech topics.

Interests

The journey that I've outlined above covers but one dimension of my life, i.e. my professional journey. But I thought it'd be worthwhile mentioning few areas of interest of mine about which a lot of the posts on this website are going to be about:

1. Reading - I'm a book nerd! Although I keep my interests spread far and wide but lately bulk of my reading has been in science fiction, tech, philosophy and history.
2. Writing
3. Content Creation (YouTube, Instagram, Email Newsletters, Blogs & LinkedIn...). It's the newest hobby of mine :)
